Step One

With the largest showroom in Christchurch – over 15 kitchen & laundry displays to browse through & for our clients our exclusive colour room, we can offer you a world of ideas.

Measure up

Step Two

Kitchen Express provides a prompt FREE measure and quote for kitchen renovators & new home builders. We can come to you – or give us a call and we can then make an appointment for you to bring your plans into our showroom to discuss with one of our experienced consultants.

Free in-home measure – We will come to you, chat through what you’d like for your new kitchen & measure the area ready for the design process to start.
Detailed written quotation for your kitchen or laundry. We can include the full package or just the basics for the kiwi DIY’er
Computer floor plans, elevations and 3D images to showcase how your kitchen will look, available to view in our showroom
We can also design & manufacture your new laundry – check out our laundry range here

Project design and pricing

Design

Step Three

We will get to work with your pricing & kitchen or laundry design …. we aim to have this completed & emailed out to you promptly. Accept our quote & we can then start deciding on final touches & finishes (the fun part!). Going over your plans in our extensive showroom makes seeing exactly what you’re getting for your investment a breeze. You can see, touch, open & close & experience exactly what your new kitchen could be.

We’ll get your design completed & pricing emailed out to you
Accept our quote & make a time to come into our showroom & go over your plans in detail
We can discuss & complete any changes required to the plans/pricing
At the showroom visit we can explain all the finish/door/bench options we may have priced up
At this stage we can begin to choose colours/handles/ sinks /bins/storage solutions…this really is the FUN part
Our client-only exclusive colour room is available so you can take your time selecting from the colours & finishes

Manufacture

Step Four

Once you have decided on all the final finishes and appliances, and we’ve completed our detailed specification sheets… You can sit back and we’ll get on with building your new kitchen in our local Christchurch factory!

We keep in touch with any questions our factory may have along the way
Send you any updated plans & pictures
Our tradies will visit at this stage to quote for services such as plumbing / electrical work/gas fitting etc…
We get the kitchen built (usually within 8 weeks depending on the products chosen) & ready to be delivered by our team the day before installation is scheduled. Keeping in touch along the way is our way of doing things
We do many kitchens for property investors in rentals – we can deal directly with the tenants in rental properties keeping them informed of our delivery process and keeping disruption to a minimum for them

Bringing your kitchen home

Installation

Step 5

Using a top quality experienced Installer is vital to completing your new kitchen to the highest standard…..for every kitchen we install our Installer visits your home or site to complete a final site measure to ensure a custom fit – ‘One size fits all’ just doesn’t cut it! We can arrange as much or as little as you’d like us to. Our entire installation process is backed by our full 10-year warranty …. so you have peace of mind.

Final site measure completed … these crucial measurements are what our factory will use to custom-build your kitchen or laundry. The installation date is booked at this measure
If you’d like to take advantage of our qualified tradies for your plumbing, electrical, building work etc … we will arrange for them to come and quote for you
Delivery is arranged & in the week prior we phone to finalise all the details
Our installer & our tradespeople will turn up on the day & on time to start the installation process. We coordinate everyone from our end, so your installation is stress-free
Installation is usually completed within 1 – 2 days …. we arrange any templating for any solid surface or stone bench tops if required & we keep in touch throughout the process
For self-installation all of our cabinets come fully assembled (with the exception of large oversize pantry units) with the handles fitted – The hard work is all done for you.

Last but certainly not least is the follow-up service Kitchen Express is committed to providing to you.
