  • TEMPORARY HOURS (Christchurch showroom only)

Kitchen Express Christchurch Showroom is currently still operating under temporary hours. Our Christchurch Showroom will only be open to the public 10am-4pm Monday - Saturday and now CLOSED on Sundays until Tuesday 26th April - We will resume our normal trading hours of 9am-5.30pm from 26/4/22.

This is to enable staff to work from home as much as possible due to the current covid 19 outbreak. Appointments outside of these hours at the showroom are available and able to be arranged directly with your consultant. We are still conducting in-home measures and following all Covid-19 health & safety protocols. Our factory is still operating and our installers are installing kitchens. Again, all of our staff are fully vaccinated and able to wear masks when meeting with clients. Your safety and that of our staff is paramount to us.

This is to enable staff to work from home as much as possible due to the current covid 19 outbreak. Appointments outside of these hours at the showroom are available and able to be arranged directly with your consultant. We are still conducting in-home measures and following all Covid-19 health & safety protocols. Our factory is still operating and our installers are installing kitchens.   • At Red we are OPEN for business to all. All of our staff are fully vaccinated. Our showrooms are open with no vaccine pass requirements to enter. We have plenty of space in our showrooms to physically distance. Our showroom surfaces are being cleaned regularly to minimize contact risk. Hand sanitiser is available at our entrances, we would like to strongly encourage the use of this as our display kitchens are often high touch areas when clients are viewing them. To keep our staff, customers & community safe you must wear a mask in our showrooms. We cannot allow access to our showroom unless you have a facemask on (as per govt rules our staff can choose to not wear a mask when working in their own offices, but they have to wear a mask when dealing face to face with any member of the public). Please maintain 2 metre distancing. Please scan in using the Covid tracer App when entering our showrooms, or sign in using the manual system, again this is compulsory. Our staff are conducting home measures under the red traffic light guidelines, they will be hand sanitising before they visit your home and can wear a mask if required.  Any questions at all please get in touch with your consultant or call us on 343 4005.

 

 

Kitchen Express in Level 2

  • We are OPEN. Our Showrooms are open & we have plenty of room in our showrooms to social distance. To keep our staff, customers & community safe you must wear a mask, unless you have an exemption we cannot allow access to our showroom unless you have a facemask on (as per govt rules our staff can choose to not wear a mask when working in their own offices, but they have to wear a mask when dealing with any member of the public). Please maintain 2 metre distancing. Please scan in using the Covid tracer App when entering our showrooms, or sign in using the manual system, again this is compulsory. Our staff are conducting home measures under level 2 guidelines, we have a backlog of measures and quotes to complete so please be patient as this will take time to work through. Our Installers are installing kitchens under level 2 and they will talk to you about how this will work. Kitchen Express in Level 3

  •  As below, our showrooms remain closed in level 3.  Our Owner / Operators are working from home, please email them with any queries you have about you kitchen and / or quote.  Our factory is operating at severely reduced capacity under level 3 restrictions. Our Installers are operating at severely reduced capacity under strict level 3 guidelines. Delays are inevitable, but we are working hard to get urgent kitchens installed, again please get in touch with your consultant directly by email with any queries at all. Our office is closed, no phone messages are being cleared in our showrooms under level 3.  We will update here when we know what level 2 guidelines will look like when they have been announced and confirmed.

Kitchen Express in Level 4

  •  As you will be aware under Level 4 ALL of our physical business activities must stop and our showrooms are closed for our staff & our clients. Our factory is also closed and production of our kitchens has temporarily halted.  While we know the disruption this can cause for our clients who currently have kitchens in progress with us, we appreciate your understanding that this is out of our control.  We realise how hard it can be, especially if you are coping without a functioning kitchen during this time.
  • Please be assured that all of our Owner Operators are working to make contact with our clients that were due to receive their kitchen delivery during this lockdown, as some of our clients may now be without a working kitchen in their home. A plan will be put in place for your kitchen delivery / installation to proceed safely, just as soon as possible. Kitchen Express have worked through this scenario in 2020 and we will once again, do our absolute best to have your kitchen up and running once this current lock down and restrictions have eased.
  • There will be delays with some kitchen deliveries in the immediate period after the lockdown finishes, while our delivery companies get back into action and our supply chain and factory starts up. We would ask that in this lockdown period you do NOT remove your old kitchen in anticipation of your new kitchen delivery  - without talking to your consultant first, in case there are short delays while we get back to a normal production and installation schedule. 
  • Any questions at all regarding your kitchen in progress please get in touch in the first instance with your consultant / owner-operator by email, they are available to answer the questions they can at this time. We know this is a stressful time, but we have the experience of over 30 years in business & being locally owned and operated by Cantabrians who have worked through this before.
  • We will update our website & our clients by email as soon as we hear of any alert level changes and what it will mean for our business operations and your kitchen. We look forward to NZ getting through this lockdown quickly and back to business soon !
